Become a Beta (Reader)

Beta readers are people who help authors perfect their book. They deserve all the praise for any book you’ve read and enjoyed.

What’s expected of a beta reader?

I will email you a chapter at a time in Word format. You’ll read through it and answer the following questions:

1. What works well in this chapter for you?

2. What seemed confusing or out of place?

3. Any thoughts on what will come next?

4. Anything else you want to share.

This isn’t a book report, and it shouldn’t be a chore. That said, timely feedback is most appreciated (within a few days of receiving the chapter).

If you can’t do all chapters, that’s fine. The chapters you can get to are appreciated. So if your life gets busy, no worries.

Please note: I may not take you up on your offer to be a beta reader immediately, and I want there to be no hard feelings if I don’t. I’m looking for different types of readers to see how the book reads to different audiences. Also I can also handle only so much feedback at once.
